Global Environmental Journalism Initiative – student exchanges

The University of Tasmania’s Journalism, Media and Communications Program is delighted to announce its participation in the Global Environmental Journalism Initiative, which has won $1.4 million in funding for student exchanges between Australia and Europe to study Environmental Journalism.

The exchanges are being funded by the European Union and the Australian Government. Each selected student receives $8500 towards the exchange. The program will run for the next three years (2009 – 2011).

Scholarships of up to $8500 are available for UTAS students wishing to study Environmental Journalism in the UK, Denmark, Greece or Finland and Norway for one semester 2009-2011. All courses are taught in English.
