Have you ever wondered what it’s like living and studying in Tasmania? Then come to Tasmania Day at Shanghai Ocean University.


Attend Lin’gang campus on Tuesday the 14th of April from 12-3pm to learn about living, studying and working in Tasmania, plus the exciting range of further study options and programs tailored to your interests.

Not only will you receive a show bag of Tasmanian goodies but you’ll even have the chance to win an economy return airfare from Shanghai to Hobart by entering the competition on the day!

Students Heidi Skeels, Ed Sheehan and Talia Shreck from the University of Tasmania studying on a scholarship at Shanghai Ocean University will be speaking. Staff from the University of Tasmania, including Chinese speaker Menting Hua a former student and international marketing officer will be on hand, giving you the opportunity to ask your nitty gritty questions in person.

Seminars will be conducted about the University of Tasmania, how to apply to UTas, the student experience, and an additional session about careers in business and ICT, so you’ll gain a broad understanding of what life’s like studying and living in Tassie.

So make sure to attend, learn more and be in with a chance to win a flight to Australia’s most beautiful state!
