Are you completing Year 11 or its equivalent and keen to start university as soon as possible? We have great news for you! Our Foundation Studies Program now offers two intakes each year – February and October – so that you can consider starting uni in the mid-year or new year intake.

Who is Foundation Studies for?

Foundation Studies helps you meet the academic standards required for entry into undergraduate courses. So, if you haven’t done the equivalent of Australian Year 12 or you are missing some pre-requisite subjects you need to study your dream uni degree, taking Foundation Studies will help you get into university.

Foundation Studies Scholarships

And there’s even better news: we offer four types of Foundation Studies related scholarships!

Our most prestigious FSP stipend, the Foundation Studies High Achiever Scholarship, provides a 50 PERCENT fee reduction to five all round outstanding students.

A second scholarship, now only available to students starting FSP in October 2017, provides the recipients with a 25 percent reduction in their FSP course fees. Known as the FSP Tasmanian International Student (TIS) Scholarship, this scholarship is available to high performing students who receive an offer to study FSP in October, packaged with a degree program commencing in semester 2, 2018.

Students who don’t receive the FSP TIS Scholarship but receive excellent FSP results will be considered for the undergraduate TIS Scholarship.

Finally, any student who does not receive a TIS scholarship but who completes their foundation studies with us and goes on to study an undergraduate degree at the University of Tasmania will receive a FSP to Degree Scholarship.

So many ways to save money while getting a quality education!

So don’t wait. Check out our Foundation Studies Program and apply now for our October intake!
