UConnect Wireless Registration Process – Staff and Students
As a result of the UConnect wireless changes planned for Wednesday the 13th of January 2010 at 11:00pm current users of these services will need to re-register all wireless devices. The following steps should be followed to complete this.
- Ensure the wireless device is disconnected from any wired connection (normally a blue cable). This includes the undocking of laptops.
- Ensure your proxy settings are either not set or set to autoproxy. See proxy help faq for more information.
- Open your Web browser to any page and you will be redirected to the UConnect setup pages. If this does not happen, either type a new address into the address bar or click on “refresh”.
- Follow the prompts to register and setup your wireless device.
