The University’s new teaching and learning facility at Mount St Vincent Nursing Home, Ulverstone, which was opened in September 2015 won the ‘New construction – under $1 million’ category at the Master Builders’ Tasmania 2016 Excellence Awards on 20 August.
We have a large array of trees on our campuses which provide a wonderful aesthetic appeal to our campuses as well as welcome shade during the summer months. As part of a high voltage upgrade on the Sandy Bay campus, an underground cable will be laid between Unigym and the Centenary Building. Small trenches will be dug between the two buildings and horizontal drill rigs will be set up at three locations during the course of the works.
