Anyone who deals with students every day knows that they can literally worry themselves sick. Not only about their grades but also about money. That’s why the University of Tasmania is providing Indian, Sri Lankan and Nepalese students with the financial breathing space to really enjoy their time studying in one of the greatest places on earth.

Free comprehensive medical insurance

All Indian, Sir Lankan and Nepalese students accepting offers to commence in February, 2017, will receive 12 months’ FREE comprehensive medical insurance!*

Medical insurance for the duration of their studies is a requirement of the student’s visa. And at around $600, this can be a costly addition for many students.

What it includes

Medicare OSHC singles health insurance meets all student visa health insurance requirements (for all course types) while helpings towards their hospital and medical needs.

How to get free medical insurance

Getting the free insurance is simple. All the student has to do is:

  1. Apply for a full-fee paying course, with a commencement date in Semester 1, 2017.
  2. Accept their offer.

And that’s it! We’ll take care of the rest.
