Invitation to submit a proposal for the Regional Development Project Den
The Regional Research Network is soon to be hosting a Regional Development Project Den – a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style event to pitch and develop new regional research projects.
The Den will be held as a lunchtime event in the week beginning 17th October (SWOTVAC), video-conferenced across three campuses.
It will be a friendly forum for researchers to pitch their high-impact project ideas, identify collaborators and collaboration opportunities, and get ideas and feedback from the panel.
Promising projects presented in the Den will also receive follow-up mentoring support from experienced regional development researchers to help refine projects and link with collaborators, funders and industry partners here and interstate.
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
If you would like to present at the Den, please complete the attached proposal form and return it to Tania.Fothergill@utas.edu.au by Friday 23rd September.
Successful participants will be notified by the end of September. You will then have 3 weeks to develop your 5–10 minute pitch.
If you have any questions about the Den or about developing your proposal please contact one of us.
