The Pet Project – Bringing people, pets and art together

The Pet Project, an initiative of the School of Creative Arts and Media and supported by The Tasmania Project, concentrates on connecting different members of communities across Tasmania through participatory arts workshops focused on creatively representing the relationships we develop with our pets.

The aim of the project is to provide a platform for the exchange of stories, to link people together, build new creative skills and techniques, and to create opportunities for local networking.

The pilot phase of the project involved a free workshop in September 2020 for community members as part of the Poochibald Art Prize 2020 and in partnership with the Clarence City Council.

More information about the project is available here.
