Florence Nightingale Grants and Awards applications
The Florence Nightingale Grants Committee was established in the 1950’s to provide Tasmanian registered nurses with the financial opportunity through study grants to undertake post graduate studies. Many Tasmanian nurses have been awarded grants to undertake post-graduate studies at higher education Institutions within and outside Tasmania.
There are a number of grants that professional experience facilitators may be interested in applying for funding. Grants focus on a variety of areas including aged care, practice development intiatives or leadership. Grants that suit clinical facilitation research include the Nell Espie study grant or nursing leadership grant.
Selection criteria and application details can be found at the Florence Nightingale Grants and Awards web page. Applications open on 1 July and close on 10 August, interviews are conducted in September for study in 2013.
