The Models & Ecosystems group meets regularly to discuss recent publications relating to marine and Antarctic ecosystems and ecosystem modelling.

This weeks’ discussion will be lead by Dr Tony Press, who offers Chapter 1 of “The Ecological Web” by HG Andrewartha and LC Birch (1984) and asks “What are the lessons from this approach to defining the environment for understanding and modelling species and ecosystems in the Southern ocean?”.

The group will meet from 4-5 pm, Friday 18th November in the IMAS meeting room. All welcome.
